Revista Universitară de Sociologie is a peer-reviewed academic journal published three times per year, dedicated to the advancement of sociological research and interdisciplinary dialogue within the broader field of social sciences. The journal provides a platform for academic staff, researchers, doctoral candidates, and practitioners interested in contemporary sociological analysis, theoretical innovation, methodological development, and applied research addressing current societal challenges.

Revista Universitară de Sociologie welcomes both conceptual and empirical contributions, with particular emphasis on methodologically rigorous, theoretically grounded, and empirically supported research that contributes to a deeper understanding of contemporary social transformations at local, regional, and global levels.
The journal was founded in 2004 under the title Revista Universitară de Științe Sociale. In 2005, it adopted its current title, Revista Universitară de Sociologie, reflecting a strengthened focus on sociological research and academic scholarship.
The International Scientific Committee includes distinguished scholars and experts in the social sciences from Romania and several other countries, including France, Italy, Spain, Greece, Bulgaria, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, and Algeria, contributing to the journal’s international academic visibility and collaborative networks.
Revista Universitară de Sociologie is published by Beladi Publishing House, an academic publishing house accredited by the CNATDCU Commission for Sociology, Political Science and Administrative Sciences, recognized for its contribution to the development and dissemination of scientific research in Romania.
