The journal provides a platform for academic staff, researchers, doctoral candidates, and practitioners interested in contemporary sociological analysis, theoretical innovation, methodological development, and applied research addressing current societal challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The journal publishes original research articles, theoretical contributions, methodological studies, and critical review papers covering a wide range of sociological themes and interdisciplinary perspectives. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>social problems and social policy;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>political sociology and governance;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>sociology of education;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>labour market dynamics, employment, and economic sociology;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>social development and community studies;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>social work and applied sociology;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>family sociology and social relations;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>crime, criminality, and social deviance;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>health, demographic change, and population studies;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>media, communication, and digital society;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>cultural sociology and identity studies;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>rural sociology and community transformation;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>social inequality, marginalization, and inclusion;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>migration and social mobility;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>social change, modernization, and post-socialist transformations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Revista Universitar\u0103 de Sociologie<\/em> welcomes both conceptual and empirical contributions, with particular emphasis on methodologically rigorous, theoretically grounded, and empirically supported research that contributes to a deeper understanding of contemporary social transformations at local, regional, and global levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The journal was founded in 2004 under the title <em>Revista Universitar\u0103 de \u0218tiin\u021be Sociale<\/em>.
